The central purpose of the Nevada Disability Coalition is to advocate for public policies that promote equal opportunity, economic self-sufficiency, and independent living for children and adults with disabilities. To do this, we work collaboratively to work on innovative solutions to public policy concerns with our members.

Working with our member agencies and their constituents, we organize our community to influence public policy both administratively and legislatively in Nevada and Nationally.

Our primary advocacy issue areas are:

Access
Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD)
Education
Employment
Health Care
Housing
Long Term Supports and Services
Transportation
Voting Rights
