About Us

The Nevada Disability Coalition is an alliance of organizations and individuals joined to promote the full and equal participation of people with disabilities in all aspects of life.

To support this mission, the Coalition offers the following programs:

  • Public Policy Program

  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Network

  • Disability Issues for Nevadans with Disabilities

  • The inclusion of Employment Opportunities for Nevadans with Disabilities

  • Voter Registration with Rev Up.

We rely on grassroots support from individuals and organizations across Nevada. The NDC is a network of individuals and organizations for the success of our combined goals.

The Coalition and its member organizations represent Nevadans of every age, economic background, political persuasion, and disability. Some are disability-specific groups based on the type of disability while others are cross-disability and may focus on specific issues such as independent living, employment, or assistive technology. Each is committed to collaboration toward improving the lives of all Nevadans who are touched by a disability.

Our Coalition is just getting started and we will supply information on important issues affecting people with disabilities in Nevada. Join Us!!

Equality for People with Disabilities

As a nation, the United States has come far in advancing the rights of disabled individuals, but we must continue fulfilling the promise of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Individuals with disabilities will be taken into account with every policy we implement and we will recognize the inherent value of every person.
